In the never-ending saga of Weird Weather, our predicted high today is 56.
But then next week we’ll have highs in the 30s. I’ve decided Mother Nature is on drugs. Or maybe she’s off her meds….
If you haven’t seen it already, check out this post from DandelionBlog about the mysterious events known as Blog Carnivals. I’ve been informed I’m participating in theirs next month.
There isn’t much on tonight except for holiday movies. So I’ll either watch that or something recorded. Last night I finally watched The Brothers Grimm which I’d recorded back in July. It was okay, but not something I’d go out and buy.
Reading: I finished up Grantville Gazette II last night. Not sure what I’ll read tonight.
On this date in 1937, Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opened in Los Angeles. This was the first full-length animated feature film.
On yesterday’s Jeopardy!, Alex Trebek was talking about how well-read this one contestant was. She’d read 785 (somewhere in that vicinity, anyway) books since 1988. Hah! Amateur!
I’ve probably read that many in two or three years! And I own almost twice that amount.

Once again, it’s raining here.
Sheesh. Enough already!!!
There is absolutely nothing on tonight. Well, another Young Indiana Jones movie is on, but I’ll record that when it repeats at midnight. So I’ll play catch-up tonight on recorded shows and/or movies.
So, I think I finally have all my Christmas shopping done. Whew! Now to start praying it all actually arrives on time. *g*
Reading: I’m still working my way through 1634: The Galileo Affair. I may have exaggerated just a tad yesterday when I said it had a cast of thousands.
But it does have a large cast when you consider the series as a whole. Fortunately, each book focuses on only certain people.
