Fun tidbit from MSNBC this morning:

    Satellites spot lost Maya temples
Archeologists and NASA scientists began teaming up five years ago to search for clues about the mysterious collapse of the Maya civilization that flourished in Central America and southern Mexico for 1,000 years.

The ice storm was considerably less icy than expected for which we’re all very thankful.

Not much on tonight except a new Stargate: Atlantis, so I’ll be catching up on more recorded stuff.

And now I’m going to talk about last night’s Survivor and Lost. Possible spoilers ahead!

I am sorely disappointed that Yau-Man got voted off last night. He was my favorite player! When are we going to get rid of Parvati???? :yuck: She makes me want to run screaming from the room :hissyfit: and/or shoot out :rambo: the television. (I don’t much like her, in case you can’t tell. LOL!)

And Lost! Wow. I so did not see that (Kate leaving the island with baby Aaron) coming! And Locke is really going off the deep end. Geez Louise! And where the heck are Desmond and Sayid???

Wrote a full page on the 1920s murder mystery last night. Then for kicks I read through a science fiction short story I wrote several years ago. It’s only nine pages (and rather lacking in description  ), but I think I could expand it and make it part of a bigger whole. I already sort of have the world figured out. Could be a fun distraction for the times I’m stuck on the mystery.

Reading: Still reading Delete All Suspects by Donna Andrews. Should finish it up tonight. I’m not sure what’s next on the agenda.

  1. Glad that you wrote. A Sci-Fi short story? Sounds interesting.
Despite tv tonight, I hope you have a good evening! (And was very glad to hear that the ice wasn’t as bad as expected!)
