There is absolute nothing going on around here today. It’s overcast and chilly (high of 45 predicted) and it’s making me want a nap in the worst way. Of course, tomorrow it’s supposed to hit 60.
Crazy weather.
The only thing of importance on tonight is the Academy Awards. Much as I love the whole Hollywood thing I’m not particularly interested. So I’ll probably catch up on recorded stuff.
Yesterday was one of my writing days off, but I did read through some notes on the science fiction story world. Just for fun.
Reading: I’m not sure what I’m going to read next.
The silly spam I’ve gotten this week:
Trying licenses (What kind of licenses are we trying? Or are they trying our patience?)
Sheepish stalactite (Yeah, those stalactites always look SO embarassed when I go caving…)
Fox appliance part (What? They’re making android foxes now?
)
Not a lot on tonight except Torchwood which is always a treat.
And if you missed Knight Rider, it’s on again tonight on NBC.
Got in about another page last night. It was a pretty boring page, though. I’m not excited about it.
Reading: I started rereading Carola Dunn’s Gunpowder Plot last night. The Daisy Dalrymple series is one of my favorite mysteries series. It’s set in 1920s England.
Fun tidbit from MSNBC this morning:
Satellites spot lost Maya temples
Archeologists and NASA scientists began teaming up five years ago to search for clues about the mysterious collapse of the Maya civilization that flourished in Central America and southern Mexico for 1,000 years.
The ice storm was considerably less icy than expected for which we’re all very thankful.
Not much on tonight except a new Stargate: Atlantis, so I’ll be catching up on more recorded stuff.
And now I’m going to talk about last night’s Survivor and Lost. Possible spoilers ahead!
