I’m pretty sure mundania isn’t a word. But, hey. Whatever. I can’t think of anything too exciting to discuss today. Sad, but true.

Not a lot on tonight that’s new except Deal or No Deal and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles which I still haven’t seen any episodes of. I guess I’ll save them for the summer rerun season. *g* There’s also a MythBusters on that I haven’t seen, so I’ll be catching that.

And since the weekend is over, I’ll be climbing back in the writing saddle. We’ll see if Delia & Ford come up with a good trap for the killer. Or more to the point we’ll find out how they come up with the trap I’ve already written. *g*

Reading: Click Here for Murder by Donna Andrews. This is the second in the Turing Hopper series.

Today’s blog title is brought to you by last night’s Torchwood. It was another great episode. And Ianto totally rocked! I always sort of thought of him as just the office boy. Shame on me! He kicked some serious butt last night. :boxing: And I’ve discovered something I find sexy. Men in long coats and leather gloves. Especially if they’re wielding a gun. :rambo: Too funny! I’ll have to find a way to use that some day…

Bit of a busy night tonight on TV. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, a new episode of Cold Case, the second half of Pride & Prejudice on Masterpiece Theatre, and the two-hour premiere of the revamped Knight Rider. What is it about redoing old shows? I find it hard to believe they can’t come up with something original. Have the Powers That Be even tried?

There have been some updates on TV Guide’s website about various TV shows.

Reading: It’s been awhile since I read the entire series, so I decided to dive into Donna Andrews’ other mystery series, the Turing Hopper series. The first book is You’ve Got Murder. Turing Hopper, by the way, is a sentient computer. Rather like Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssey only less psychopathic.

Since I shifted my blog over to my main domain, I’ve been getting a lot more silly spam in my moderation queue. Fun things like:

    best snow boot
    chair child wood
    case computer fan

Sure, okay. Anything you say.

On this date in 1923, archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the long-fabled, treasure-laden tomb of Tutankhamen (King Tut).

From CNN:

JOHN GRISHAM HAS NO ILLUSIONS ABOUT WRITING
Some things John Grisham knows: He got 15 rejections before his first book, “A Time to Kill,” was published. He made $9 million last year. He’s not James Joyce or William Faulkner. He’s an entertainer.

Since it’s Saturday, there isn’t a lot on. My beloved Torchwood, of course. There’s also an encore of the season premiere of Jericho. However, I’ll be catching up on recorded stuff before and probably after Torchwood.

Wrote another page last night. :whoo:

Reading: No Nest for the Wicket by Donna Andrews. Donna Andrews is one of my favorite mystery writers. Her Meg Langslow series is funny and cute. She’s got a wacky family and a hunky actor-turned-drama-professor fiancĂ©. And all the books have a bird theme in the title.
