Well, last night was the series finale for my beloved Jericho. I’m sad the show is over (unless they succeed in getting one of the cable channels to pick it up), but it was a mostly satisfying ending. It would have been improved if the Blonde Bimbo had bought the farm, though.
Dancing with the Stars was fun, too. The two pairs (it was a double elimination round) who were booted off deserved to be.
Penn Jillette was entertaining, but he couldn’t dance worth a flip. And neither could Monica Seles, poor thing.
Tonight is Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, Men in Trees, and UFO Hunters.
Read through more of the fantasy book last night. Got to some parts that need some work but it’s still a fun read, IMO.
Reading: I’m re-reading Candy Apple Red by Nancy Bush. It’s the first book in a fun mystery series.
I watched Dancing with the Stars last night, too. And I agree, the ones who were eliminated were the worst dancers of the bunch. I did feel bad for Monica though.
Sorry your explosive show was cancelled. I never did watch it, so you can blame me. *g*
Yay on the Fantasy read through!
I hope you have a great afternoon! And that you’re getting the warm temps we are today.

I knew that they would both be eliminated. He is just too tall to be a dancer.
Tori, you have more or less the same reading taste as me. Have you read all three of the book in Nancy’s series? I’ve been checking her site to see if there will be a book #4, but so far I haven’t seen anything.
It’s kewl that you’re enjoying reading your story. I’m sure the parts that needs to be fix, you’ll do a wonderful job.
I hope you’re having a good Wednesday.

Brandy, I’m not going to blame you. I blame the CBS executives. They cancelled because of its ratings, but its ratings weren’t any worse than Survivor’s, so I don’t buy that one bit.
And, yes, it’s going to be 70 today.
Dru, I’ve only read the first of the Jane Kelly series. I keep forgetting to buy the other two. I’ve finally remembered to add them to my shopping list.

70 degrees… you just HAD to rub it in when I was thinking we were doing good at 45. I have my windows open!
Sorry about Jericho. I watched it a couple of times, but it just didn’t grab me.

Sorry about your show. At least you got a satisfying finale. I’m still mad over Invasion!

Whoa! Did someone mention Invasion? That was the alien infecting people show, right? With um, Carla something or other. I LIKED that show. One week it was on and the next Poof!

Invasion was the one with the super hot park ranger dude whose ex-wife got replaced by an alien clone. Or something like that. *g* The other alien show with Carla Gugino (sp?) was called Threshold. Yet another case of CBS pissing me off when they jerked the schedule around then cancelled the show.
Have I mentioned lately how much I hate TV executives? *g*

I watched both Invasion and Threshold and enjoyed them. I don’t know why I couldn’t get into the other sci-fi shows. I don’t think executives give sci-fi shows room to grow an audience.

I FINALLY caught up on my Jericho episodes.
I am so depressed that they canceled it, but I am glad that they gave it a halfway decent resolution. Season 1’s resolution was so incomplete.
Which one was the blonde bimbo? That stupid schoolteacher lady that Jake hooked up with when he should’a stayed with the smart one? Yeah, she should’a died. And why the heck did they have to kill Bonnie? I’m still mad about that one!
