Time to put on my Grim Reaper costume again. The world’s lost another legendary actor. Charlton Heston died Saturday night at age 84. Most famous for his role as Moses in The Ten Commandments, he appeared in more than 120 movies & TV shows. He won an Academy Award for Best Actor in 1959 for his role in Ben-Hur.
On another TV star note, can you believe Candace Cameron (who played the eldest daughter on Full House) turns 32 today!
That just makes me feel ancient. Where’s my walking cane?
Tonight on TV, we have Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith, a new episode of Cold Case and the return of Wire in the Blood on BBC America.
I recently got a Barnes & Noble gift card, so I ordered some new books the other day.
- Dead Sexy by Tate Hallaway
- Too Pretty to Die by Susan McBride
- Killer Deal by Sheryl Anderson
- Electric Blue by Nancy Bush
- Cat in a Red Hot Rage by Carole Nelson Douglas
Now I hope they get here fast, but knowing the post office they’ll take their own sweet time delivering them. On the plus side, however, my pretty pink & purple storage tubs are slated to arrive tomorrow.
So I can get back to working on my closets!
Reading: I finished up The Man in the Brown Suit last night and since I was still in an Agatha Christie mood, I decided to read another. So I started The Seven Dials Mystery which stars the delightful and spunky Lady Eileen Brent who goes by the nickname “Bundle”.
DJ at 32??? Wow, how time flies. I was feeling old, but turns out she’s not that much younger than me. I’m reading Laura Griffin’s One Wrong Step. It’s good but the “real world” keeps getting in the way and I’m not able to read it as fast as I’d like.

Hearing child actors age when they are grown up is not right. Simply not right.
I heard about Charlton. I bet Biography will have their special on him either today or tomorrow.
I read both Killer Deal and Electric Blue, both were enjoyable.

Man, hadn’t heard about Charlton Heston. That’s sad. He was in so many classic movies.
Oh, new Cold Case tonight? Thanks!

Um, as for DJ, aka Candace Cameron, I had no idea she was a year younger than me!
