Our cable went out last night so I flipped over to satellite and happened across this decorating show. The designer was so pleased with herself over arranging the family’s books by color. Good grief! I’d never find anything to read if I had mine organized by the flippin’ color!!! Sheesh.
So it might not be as aesthetically eye-pleasing, but I think I’ll keep my fiction books in alphabetical order by author, thank you very much. And my research books are sorted by subject.
I missed all my shows last night because of the aforementioned cable going out. It went out in the middle of the immunity challenge on Survivor. It came back on about the time for the 10:00 news. Firgures. *g*
Anyway, today is sunny, though cooler.
And tonight on TV, we have the series premiere of another spin-off of Doctor Who called The Sarah Jane Adventures, Battlestar Galactica, Ghost Whisperer, and Numb3rs.
Much to my surprise, I managed to get some writing done last night. Yay!
Reading: Electric Blue by Nancy Bush. I’ve just barely started this, so I don’t really have much to say about it. I loved the first book in the series, though, so I’m sure I’ll love this one.
Can you see cable programs on your satelitte?
I don’t have a set way for my books. They are grouped by authors. The only two authors that have their own shelves are J.D. Robb and Janet Evanovich.

YAY! Another person who alphabatizes their books! I do that by genre as well. *g* What? *G*
Arranging by color? The woman should be ashamed.
And you wrote! Good for you!
I hope you keep your tv tonight! Have a great day! (And enjoy that sun!)

Well, that’s just stupid about book arrangement. Sheesh. She’s clearly not a reader.

I do mine by author’s alphabetically. I’d be so mad if someone did it by color. I just don’t get that!

Ah. You can tell you’re still a librarian at heart.
How was Sarah Jane Chronicles?

I think I was a librarian even before I ever went to work in a library. *g*
