I frequently feel like I’m getting nowhere fast. Spinning my wheels. Whatever saying hints at that sort of thing. But it’s been a lot worse lately. I guess the pinched nerve or whatever it is that’s causing the numbness in my hand is getting me down. *sigh*
Anyway. Onward.
Busy night on TV. Smallville (I’m getting bored by this show, though, so I may give it up), Survivor: Backstabbers, CSI, Without a Trace, and the return of new episodes for Lost.
I managed to make some more notes on the fantasy last night. Then I had to use this thingamajig on my hand/wrist that shoots you with electric impulses because my hand went so numb it was ice cold and felt like somebody was stabbing me with an ice pick. Fun. Not.
Reading: I gave up on Sick Puppy because life’s too short to read something I’m not really enjoying that much. Then I tried 1st to Die by James Patterson. Now I love the TV show Women’s Murder Club. But I just could not get into the book. So I gave that one up, too, and dived into Lean Mean 13 by Janet Evanovich. I enjoyed that one a lot more.
Lean Mean 13 was great. I really enjoyed that one.
I’m so sorry your hand is getting you down. I’m guessing there’s nothing you can do but wait it out? {{{hugs}}}.

So sorry to hear that your hand is getting worse. Is there nothing the Doc can do?
Sending lots of HUGS to you.
Lean Mean 13 was a good book, and I had the same problem with that James Patterson book. I enjoy the series and wanted it to be more like that I guess.
Again, HUGS!

Sucks about your hand.
Sorry.
And, yes, life IS too short for bad books.

Life is indeed too short to waste on things you don’t enjoy. In that spirit I abandoned Smallville long ago.

Sorry about your hands. {{{Tori}}} I would also like to know what your doctor said.
Count me as another one who enjoyed Lean Mean 13.

I’m sorry about your hand. Any chance you could use one of the handy little digital recorders to dictate. Though restructuring and rewriting isn’t the best time for that. Maybe when you start something new.
Hugs and hang in there. Are you wearing a brace?
I stopped reading Janet Evanovich after the first couple of the Stephanie Plum books. I know many people love them, but they just seemed all the same to me.
