I love chicken & dumplings. My mom makes them, but I have to admit hers aren’t my favorite. She uses shortcuts like tortillas to make the dumplings. They’re okay, but nothing to write home about. However, one of our neighbors knows how much I love chicken & dumplings and she made me a big ol’ batch yesterday. From scratch. YUM!!! I had them for lunch yesterday, for supper last night, and lunch again today. *g*

What’s your comfort food?

I’d have posted sooner today, but I slept late and then dragged myself to the library because I was out of new books to read.

Re last night’s shows, Survivor continued its seasonal theme of backstabbing & blindsiding. And on Lost, as much as it pains me to admit this, I’m almost starting to like Ben. :confused68:

Tonight, we have new episodes of Ghost Whisperer, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Moonlight, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, and Numb3rs. Whew!

I wrote a whole little conversation last night on the fantasy. :whoo: *g*

Reading: Since I have now replenished my library book supply, I think I’ll read Creation in Death by J. D. Robb.

  3. I gotta admit, I cannot STAND Natalie on Survivor. And one of the chickens spouted off…it’s “Natalie” on ALL the Reality shows: Survivor, Big Brother, and Girlicious.
    My comfort food?
Hmmmmmmmmm…don’t gross out. I like rotini pasta with ranch dressing. OMG I could swim in that stuff. Gimme some pasta anytime.
Read “Creation in Death” about a week ago. Liked “Born in Death” so much better. I gotta reach my Roarke quota. :hissyfit:

  5. I love chicken and dumplings, but hate making it. Nice, thick soup is a fave of mine. Or creamy casseroles.

    Man…I’m making myself hungry.

  6. Good ole Mac-n-cheese, for me! And sandwiches, maybe a grilled cheese or a cheese sandwich. (Are you noticing the pattern here?)

  7. Hmmm, chicken pot pie or Chicken Paprika. Both are comfort foods for me and both have to be made from scratch. *g* Glad to know you are ok, I stopped by earlier and NO TORI!
Glad to hear you wrote, but take it easy with the hand please!
And what a coincidence! We went to the library AGAIN today. *G*

    Have a great night!

  8. Baked macaroni and cheese. My mother makes it the best and whenever I feel low, I implore her to make me a pan.

I’m looking forward to seeing Mick tonight. The coming attraction had him as human. A human Mick..yummy.

Hey, you did a library run. I love going to my library to pick up my books.

    How’s your hand today?
