Today is my parents’ 49th wedding anniversary. How did that happen? It snuck up on me this year. They went out for lunch after a trip out in the hills to snag some rose bush cuttings from the old family farm (which hasn’t been in our family for decades). Part of me wishes I was as industrious as Suzanne and could buy the old family farm and live the country life.
And I totally missed my blog anniversary yesterday. I’ve been blogging here since April 30, 2005. But why does it seem longer?
Maybe because before this, I had a Livejournal page?
Not a very busy night tonight on TV. We have Survivor: Backstabbers (which CBS is calling Survivor: Curse of the Idol because everybody who’s had the hidden immunity idol has gotten voted off
), CSI, Without a Trace (which I’ve kind of given up on, but am still recording), and Lost.
And everyone in Louisville, Kentucky is gearing up for Derby Weekend. Wish I was there!
Got in another page last night on the fantasy. I may be making a mistake in trying to introduce some of the folks from future books in the series. But it’s amusing me at the moment.
Reading: Living Dead in Dallas by Charlaine Harris. I love that title! This is the second Sookie Stackhouse book. If you like vampires, shapeshifters, and telepaths (Oh, my!) check out this series!
Ack… you said “snuck”… I HATE THAT WORD.
Okay, all better.
Re: the Derby, I saw Big Brown took the outside. Wonder how that will work for him. I’m pulling for the filly.

Happy anniversary to your parents! It’s not too early to work on the blowout for the 50th.
Glad you’re still working on the fantasy. Let me know if you want critique.

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary to your Parents! What a wonderful milestone to reach in this day and age.
Hmm, I’m liking Without a Trace more lately. Jack has been up to alot.
SOOKIE STACKHOUSE! I LOVE those books. I can’t wait for the release of the newest one next week. (From Dead to Worse)
I’m glad you’re writing, and introducing future characters sounds fine.
Have a great day!
