It’s a gorgeous sunny day here, kids. Predicted high of 77.

Someone asked yesterday if the “Next Big Thing” was a Brisco County Jr. reference. And, you know, I’d forgotten all about that being one of the running gags of the show! How sad. Must get those DVDs one of these days….

Last night’s Survivor was classic! In what everyone considers the dumbest move ever made by one of the players, Erik gave up the immunity necklace to Natalie because the girls had convinced him they’d vote out Amanda if he did.  Once again, I thought the jury was going to come unglued with hysterical laughter. Naturally, the girls voted Erik out, *g*

As for CSI, it was a great idea in theory. In execution, not so much. I didn’t find it especially funny except in a few spots. I wonder if the episode of Two and Half Men that the CSI writers wrote was any better?

And Lost was pretty darn interesting, too. And remember the episode where Sun visited Jin’s grave in the flash forward? I don’t think he’s dead. I think the Oceanic Six had to pretend the others were dead when they escaped the island.

Tonight, of course, is busy, busy, busy. Speed Racer, Ghost Whisperer, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Doctor Who, Moonlight, Battlestar Galactica, and Numb3rs. Whew!

I managed to write a full page last night. :whoo:

Reading: Last night I read The Cats Pajamas by Gilbert Morris, then started The Christmas Thief by Mary Higgins Clark and Carol Higgins Clark.

  1. I just discovered that none of your links are clickable through Google Reader… Huh. Now that I”m here, I’ll click on the link for the Gilbert Morris story. :flying:

  2. Survivor?
Seriously. I was yelling at the TV the entire time. And the jury was cracking up. James said, “I am now not the dumbest Survivor in history.”
Um, nope. That would definitely be Erik. What a twit.
I agree about CSI. I loved the cameo of the cast of Two and a Half Men. And it had some cute jokes in it. But it didn’t meet my expectations.
Way to go on the writing!!!

  3. The Two and a Half Men this week was HYSTERICAL! CSI was a tad of a letdown, but very campy, nonetheless.

    A page?

  4. First, YAY ON THE PAGE! *G*
I liked the CSI last night, but then again, I like campy. *G* I didn’t watch the episode of Two and a Half Men, so don’t know how that went.

And I don’t watch Survivor, but even I have heard of this and yeah, STUPID MOVE!

Hope you’re enjoying all those books! Have a good day and enjoy that weather!

  5. To be strict, I think that what Brisco was into was “the coming thing”. But the sentiment’s right there. (I also need those DVDs….)

  6. Two and a Half Men was hilarious. When it comes back on in repeats you should watch it. CSI was a okay, not like it thought it would be. The only parts I liked was the tampoon scene and the cameo by the TAAHM cast.

I heard about what happened on Survivor.

    have a good weekend.

  7. Since I don’t watch any of these shows I have no idea what you all are talking about.

It’s definitely strange to hear about Lost after I stopped watching it. Everything sounds so bizarre now!
