It’s National Train Day! So hop on board a train and see the world! Well, okay, you might have to take an alternate form of travel to cross the oceans
but that’s beside the point. *g* I’ve always had a fascination with train travel. Despite my one train trip when I was a kid which was less than fun. I suspect it’s all those romantic mystery movies from the 30s & 40s. The Thin Man movies, Grand Central Murder, Murder in a Private Car (which I saw just recently), Lady on a Train, The Silk Express, The Lady Vanishes, Rome Express, and then later in 1974 we had the star-studded Murder on the Orient Express.
There’s nothing on TV tonight that I like, so I’ll be catching up on recorded shows. I wonder if I have anything with trains in it….?
Wrote almost another page last night.
Reading: Dead to the World by Charlaine Harris. This is the fourth Sookie Stackhouse book. It’s been awhile since I’ve read it. But the one thing I remember about it was all the lovely Eric hotness. *g*
I love the Thin Man series.
Kudos on the page writing.

My DH has been known to watch the Train Show on the Farm Channel (though his favorite show is “Weed of the Week”… yes, really).
Keep on writing… no more 13 years to finish, kay?

As for the writing, just repeat this phrase…”I think I can, I think I can, I think I can….”

Trains are very cool. Some of my fondest memories are during my backpacking trip through Europe with a Eurail pass! So much fun.
Hope you enjoyed the recorded shows you watched!
