Okay, kids, I’m about to go into a rant about last night’s Survivor, so if you happen to watch and haven’t seen it yet, skip this next paragraph.

I CANNOT believe they gave the million to Parvati!!!! :cursin: I disliked her the first time she was on the show and my feelings for her didn’t improve this season. I can’t believe how mad it makes me that she won. Grrr. :fryingpan:

Ahem. But I was tickled that James won the Sprint $100,000 popularity contest thingy. And it was highly amusing when Ozzy pulled a “I lost my job and have to clean toilets now” stunt like last season’s Denise (which turned out not to be true). And he and Amanda are really a couple. So sweet. And next season they’re going back to Africa! :whoo: Research! *g*

And something else that’s been bugging me. I am sick to death of CBS’s new show Swingtown and it doesn’t even premiere until June!!! They cancelled the excellent Jericho and then come up with a show about swingers in the 1970s? I’d rather watch an inane reality show! And given how much I hate most reality shows that should tell you how little I care for their “highly anticipated” show. Hah! I hope it tanks BIG TIME!

Wow. I’m really in a mood today, aren’t I?

Tonight on TV, we have Bones, Dancing With the Stars (for which I won’t mind the outcome because I like all four of the people who are left), Cities of the Underworld, and CSI: Miami.

If I get kind of scarce around here (I may not, but just in case), it’s because we’ve got a lot of family crises going on.

Reading: Winter Wonders by Melody Carlson. This is another of the Grace Chapel Inn books. My mom checked them out from the library the other day. But I’m not really in the mood for it. Especially since I got three new books in the mail Saturday. They’re tempting me to ditch the library books. *g*

  1. I hope all stays calm with your family stuff. Sometimes that can get just sooo overwhelming. We’ll miss you, but await your return.

LOL on your Survivor rant. I don’t watch it bcs that kind of stuff ticks me off. I have enough things that get my blood going, don’t need tv to do it, too.

But at least there’s a BONES on tonight.

  2. I’m sorry you have to deal with a family crisis. We are here if you need us.

LOL on your rant. My co-worker feels the same way you do too about Parvat.

I’m with you on that new show which I have no interest in watching.

I’m looking forward to Bones..only one more left after tonight.

I hope Monday is as pleasant as it can be for you.

  4. The Swingtown show is gross if you ask me and I for one will not be watching. Whatever happened to promoting morals? Eh. I’m looking forward to DWTS tonight!

Enjoy your books, whichever you choose to read. Have a terrific afternoon!
