I found out yesterday that one of my favorite funny fantasy authors, Robert Asprin, passed away this past Thursday.
I’ll miss getting new books from him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
As usual, there’s nothing on tonight except a bunch of MythBusters reruns which I probably won’t watch because I have so many recorded show to watch. I finally saw the Criminal Minds season finale last night. Wow!
So whose vehicle was it???
Gosh. I’m getting really boring. I need to find something fun and interesting to talk about. Or something entertaining to rant about.
Reading: I was planning to start one book last night, but the problem with ordering used books online is you don’t always know what you’re going to get. And this book smells… well, mildewed. Yuck!
So it’s gonna have to air out some more before I can read it. So instead, I’m reading Murder on the Astral Plane by Jaqueline Girdner.
I read about that authors passing yesterday on one of the boards I frequent. As a matter of fact, we’re talking about the Criminal Minds ending as well! We’re all trying to figure out who went BOOM.
You are NOT boring. I win that title. *G*
Ooh, that’s one thing I don’t like about UBS. You don’t know WHO has had that book before you and what they’ve done to it, or how they live. Do you have a dryer sheet? Try folding one in the pages and see if that helps.
The author you’re reading now sounds familiar. Hmmm.
I hope you have a fantastic day! (And that the sun is nice and bright for you! *G*)

Ooh… haven’t watched Criminal Minds yet. Someone blows up???
A boring life isn’t a bad thing. And, hey, if you were that dull we wouldn’t come by every day!

Isn’t it funny that at one point or time, we feel that we are boring. I know I feel like that when nothing exciting happens tand I have nothing to share with you guys, but I don’t think any of us are boring because why we would be reading your blog on a daily basis.
How’s the room re-do coming along?
I’ve never heard of this author.

I’m sorry to hear about the passing of one of your fave authors. It’s always weird and oh-so-sad to think there will never be another book from them especially if they wrote a series with continuing characters.

I didn’t know about Robert Asprin! I haven’t read anything of his in a long time but I really adored his early books. I’m very sorry to hear he’s gone.
