I was organizing my homeschooling books on a big bookcase last night and thought of you! I'm off to the office supply store to by little dots for some of the books so I can keep track of them better!

Very cool to return on Nicholas Lea's birthday. Did you ever see him in Vertical Limits? He looked so good there!

Oh, i just saw that you are writing a 1920s murder mystery - that is so cool! I am writing an 1890s one, takes place in Brooklyn, female detective, etc. Going very slowly...history blog is teaching me more about Brooklyn, because I got stuck...it is so hard to imagine oneself back in another time but I love it.

Definitely, definitely coming back to read more of your posts.

Thanks for the link! I am glad to have found your blog too, I am going to bookmark you and come back...I know JUST what you mean about Ancestry, I have often wished they would inde by occupations - actually the LDS Family Centers used to have an 1880 index that did have an occupation filter. i don't know if they still have it.

I also write about weird Victorian/NYC stuff and genealogy (scandalous gg uncles, etc) at

I sometimes remember my dreams and other times I don't. I do get those deja vu moments as well. Hmm.

Gosh! That dress in that ad? Ewwwww. *G*

What do you think of Greensburg?

I hope you have a good day!
