I. Hate. Humidity. Even if I’m inside all day, I can tell when it’s really humid outside. Ugh. Given a choice between 90 degrees and 40-50% humidity or 115 degrees with 5-10% humidity, I’d take the latter every time. I keep wondering why on earth I ever left my beloved desert in the first place… though if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have met some of the cool people I know now. So I guess it worked out well that way.

I enjoyed last night’s In Plain Sight, but heavens to Murgatroyd! I wanted to smack that father in the worst way. Preferably with a lead pipe. Sheesh. What a jerk! I also watched The Legend of Zorro last night. This is another case of my being totally wrong about the casting in a movie. When I first heard way back when who they were considering, I thought Antonio Banderas would be terrible in the role. So I was thrilled when I was wrong. 
Tonight it’s The Middleman. And something recorded, of course.
Back to the writing grind tonight. Don’t I sound enthusiastic about the prospect? 
Reading: Finished up Night Calls and started Kindred Rites which is also by Katharine Eliska Kimbriel. Good stuff, Maynard! (A round of applause for those who can tell me where that phrase came from. )
Have not had a chance to watch IPS…. the DVR boffo-ed and didn’t record the first 28 minutes, so I have to wait until Wednesday (couldn’t interrupt Foyle’s War to watch IPS when IPS will be on again later in the week).
I loved Banderas in Zorro. And Shrek. And, well, anywhere, really. I first saw him in Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, a foreign-language film I let some boy take me to in college. GREAT movie. Even with subtitles.

I agree with you about the father – I wanted to shoot him and I’m not a violent person.
I was also suprised at Banderas, and I especially loved him in Shrek. His wife’s voice, on the other hand, drives me crazy.

I hear you on the humidity! It’s making me frizz out and it just wears you out when you’re outside. Ugh.
I know what you mean about the Father in IPS last night. I wanted to hurl something at his head, selfish jerk!
Tonight The Closer is back! YAY! Now I just have to remember to watch it. *G*

I couldn’t do the desert. I just don’t mind the humidity that much. I guess that makes me a freak.
