They were only born three days ago and I am already SICK TO DEATH of hearing about Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie’s twins.

Keep reading, there’s plenty more!

So last night I watched Foyle’s War which is part of the Mystery! series on PBS. Only now it’s all under the Masterpiece umbrella (Masterpiece Classics, Masterpiece Mystery, and Masterpiece something else that hasn’t shown up yet  ). Anyway, the host of the Mystery portion is now Alan Cumming who (whom?) I’ve always liked. And on Sunday’s episode, he wore this very dapper three-piece suit which oddly made my heart go pitter-pat. All he needed was a fedora and I might have had to rethink the casting for my 1920s police detective… :)

Last night’s The Middleman was much better than last week’s. Whew! Tonight, we have absolutely nothing on. So it’s more recorded stuff for me!

Amy, that’s one of the nice things about the shows on USA. They get repeated a lot.

Dru, do not get me started on how annoying I find Melanie Griffith. Though I’d have to say if I were her, I’d be suing the pants off my plastic surgeon…. :mad2:

Brandy, I caught the tail end of The Closer last night and decided I may have to start watching it. You guys have got me very curious. :)

Reading: Still reading Kindred Rites by Katharine Eliska Kimbriel. I may finish it tonight. If so, I’m not sure what’s next on my agenda…

  1. Do not EVEN get me started on Brangelina.

Had to turn Middleman off last night ’cause 9 found the zombies too scary.

Wasn’t Alan Cummins suit wonderful on Sunday? ::sigh::

  2. Tonight is the premier of Say Yes to the Dress and Rock the Reception. I’m set. *G* I think it’s time for the Press to back away from the Brad and Angelina twin thing.
Ooo, suits and fedoras. Don’t you wish men still dressed that way? *g*

You HAVE to try The Closer. It’s at times serious (very), but is broken by moments of funny comments and/or actions. It was really nice to see them come together as a team over the past seasons, too.

I hope you are having a delightful day!

  5. I heard Bragelina wanted to have 12 children. They are half-way there. But seriously, how could they have 12 kids and two high-power careers?

Hubby watched Masterpiece Theater a couple of weeks ago. Some mystery about these couples who had switched wives or something. I only caught snatches of it.
