Why is it we can never get a dishwasher with a door that stays down without having the freakin’ drawer pulled out? I get tired of holding the door down with my shin while pulling the drawer out. C’mon, it’s the 21st Century! Can’t somebody come up with a better solution?

And why do people use the phrase “eats like a bird” for people who don’t eat much? Have they ever actually watched birds eat? For their weight they eat a lot!!!

So, since yesterday I complained about the whole Brangelina thing, naturally last night I had to watch Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It was a fun movie. And I was in the mood for a “shoot ‘em up”. :rambo: But I did wonder how they got their respective organizations to leave them alone there at the end.

Tonight, I’ll be watching Ghost Hunters International and MythBusters. Though if the latter is one I’ve already seen, I’ll watch something recorded.

In TV news, William Petersen of CSI is leaving the show. Read about it here. I love George Eads, Eric Szmanda and Archie Kao, but I’m not not sure they’re enough to keep me watching.

Tweaked about 20 pages on the murder mystery last night. I have yet to get to the middle where it all falls apart….

Reading: Made it to the library yesterday. :cheer: So I’m reading a new-to-me author, Mel Odom. The book is called Blood Evidence. It’s about an NCIS team (not the one TV) at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. I’m really enjoying it. Check out the hottie on the front cover (and I don’t mean the women  ).

  1. kewl on the 20 pages.

Yeah, I’m sadden to hear the news about William Petersen.

I did enjoy Mr and Mrs Smith. They both fit the role.

  2. There’s a 2nd in the Mel Odom books? WOOT! Thanks! I read the first one Paid In Blood. Normally I’m not a fan of male authors, but I liked it.
I read about William Petersen last night and wondered if the others would be enough to hold the show on tv. Did you read where Jorja fox will be back for a few episodes? UGH!
    Good news on the writing!

    I hope you’re having a nice day!

  3. The dishwasher is probably a spring setting you can loosen. Our doors have always stayed open, so I can’t imagine it’s not something unchangeable if they don’t. Just not sure how to tell you to do it.

    Yay for page tweaking! Wahoo.

  4. I didn’t know the twins were out until I read this post. Hahaha! Goes to show that not every place I hit in the web was in awe with the Brangelina twins.
