On this date in 1939, the producers of The Wizard of Oz debated whether or not to keep one song in the movie because it slowed down the action. They finally decided to keep it in. The song? Over the Rainbow.

and everyone knows that song and several artists have re-sung it, but the best version is the original sung by Judy Garland.
