Tropical Storm Dolly is slated to become a hurricane today. And she’s heading for the Texas Gulf coast. So batten down the hatches!

Not that it’s related to Dolly, but it’s stormy here this morning. And it’s raining from the wrong angle and messing up my satellite signal. I suppose I should just be thankful it doesn’t happen often. In fact, our cable goes out more than my satellite, so the cable company can put THAT in their pipe and smoke it!

I came across an interesting story about a 1600 year old bible that’s soon to be available online. It’s one of the oldest known copies of the bible.

Thanks for the assurances about my Mac and Dad’s PC working together.

There’s not a thing on tonight I care about except Eureka reruns which don’t come on until late tonight. I may record them to get myself geared up for the season premiere on the 29th.

Worked through 12 or 13 pages last night. Some parts of this book strike me as being quite good. Other parts, not so much. Such is the thrill and agony of writing.

Reading: I’m on my last library book. Plague Ship by Clive Cussler and Jack Du Brul. Good stuff!

  2. I hate when rain messes up our satellite, the good thing is you can always put in a movie! *g*
I’ll be watching Say Yes to the Dress and Rock the Reception tonight. *G* LAst weeks RTR made me cry because one of the couples was getting married while she’s battling cancer. (I’m a sap.)

I’m glad you’re still working on your writing, no matter what you think! *G*

I hope you’re having a nice day and send some of that rain here!

  3. Hey! You can’t blame this hurricane on me. I’m not headed anywhere near the Texas Gulf!
