Well, amazingly, it’s not as hot today as it has been. Nice! (Though it’s still really humid.)
- ETA: Forgot to mention, the doctor said part of the problem with my hands is arthritis.
There’s an interesting article on CNN about Danielle Steel. And interestingly enough, it’s not a “let’s sneer at romance” type article.
Tonight, we have Burn Notice on TV. And for some weird reason it came up as a rerun on my TV listings. Not sure what’s up with that.
Worked through another 20 pages last night. I’m now in the middle of the book that so totally sucks swamp water. 
And I still haven’t got a clue how to fix it which is really frustrating. Okay, not all of it sucks. Some of it’s kind of fun, but…. it still needs a Ton O’ Work.
Reading: After a good airing-out in my bathroom (the book reeked of perfume), I’m finally able to read Plum Lucky by Janet Evanovich.
Jeez! We’re having the same weather! Sorry to hear about the arthritis.

My mom has rheumatoid arthritis, and has for fifteen years — she keeps it pretty much under complete control using yucca supplements and glucosomine. The doctor doesn’t believe her, says she should be crippled by now and even retested her, thinking she was misdiagnosed.
She wasn’t, she isn’t, and it works.
Just saying.

The pleasures of the 40s – arthritis (I have some in my middle finger, writing hand), joint issues, perimenopause (the pause that does NOT refresh)…ugh. It is hot here too. I am looking forward to late fall, when it starts cooling off.
I carried some of my Awful, Terrible Novel around with me and was hoping to work on it while waiting in dr’s waiting room. Instead I read a bad magazine followed by staring into space.

My husband read a print article about Danielle Steel and kept reminding me about how many books she’s written. Between that and the article about Stephenie Meyers in EW, I’m getting hounded to write a blockbuster.
My mom has pretty bad arthritis. I’m not sure what she takes for it. Pretty much she just works through the pain. Her grip is really bad and she freaks my kids out with the twisted joints. She also has fibro and Sjogren’s Syndrome (or however you spell it). Not sure how she stays so active.
