On this date in 1932, Walt Disney released his first color cartoon. It was entitled “Flowers and Trees” and was made in three-color Technicolor.
In 1936, Margaret Mitchell sold the movie rights to Gone With the Wind for $50,000. That was highest amount ever paid for a novel’s movie rights at the time.


Okay, I have no idea what cartoon that is. Sorry. As for the Margaret Mitchell sale, wonder what that would be in our lifetime?
