Yesterday, I had something I was going to talk about and I thought I’d save it for today. Naturally, now I can’t remember what it was! *sigh* My mind is a scary place…. I’m sure it was a piece of absolute brilliance, too. 
One thing I want to share today, class, is the release of Candace Haven’s Charmed and Ready in mass market paperback. This is Book #2 in the Charmed series. I bought mine in trade paperback but I know a lot of people can’t afford that. Well, I really can’t either but I do make exceptions. 
And I really love this series so thought it was worth it. If you haven’t read this series, why not??? Go forth and buy it!
So. Tonight on TV we have Psych. But really, for me, it’s all about the Olympics Opening Ceremonies. If that doesn’t float your boat, however, Animal Planet is having the Puppy Games. I’m assuming this is similar in nature to their Puppy Bowl they have every year.
At long last, my Amazon order FINALLY shipped.
It’s still cooler here. Highs in the upper 80s which is a vast improvement over highs in the upper 90s and lower 100s.
Last night I worked on an outline for the contemporary fantasy. I’m not very good at outlining but I thought it might help me figure out what I’ve got and what I need. The problem is this seems to want to be a mystery, too. 
I so do not need that hassle. But I’m afraid the characters may be Really Insistent. But maybe if I plot it out ahead of time I won’t fall into the same trap I found myself in with the 1920s mystery? No? Please don’t disillusion me. I like living in my own little fantasy world. 
Reading: Finished up Sorcery and Cecelia and am now reading the sequel, The Grand Tour (subtitled Or the Purloined Coronation Regalia). Still by Patricia Wrede and Caroline Stevermer. Did you know the Duke of Wellington was a wizard? He is in this series.
I enjoy the Bronwynn books! And yeah, I usually buy them in MM.

If it wants to be a mystery, I’m not sure there’s much you can do. You gotta write the story you gotta write, you know?

I had fun watching the Olympics tonight with the kids. And I saw a preview for Heroes. Yippee! It’s coming back!!!
