Yay for women’s soccer! The girl, Carli, that scored the winning goal grew up in Delran, New Jersey – a town over from my own hometown! Amazing news to make up for softball.. Bummer..

The women’s beach volleyball final was awesome. I was about ready to go to bed, but I couldn’t bring myself to get off the couch until I’d safely seen them win the Gold.

I will miss the Olympics. I won’t miss the NBC commentators.
