Yeah… my DH and I were frustrated thru most of the Olympics because of the announcers apparently adoration of the Chinese. **sigh** And, no, I have nothing against the Chinese people as a whole, but … hello???

I saw reports of the closing ceremonies on the news, but didn’t watch the actual thing. (Nothing new there. *G*) I agree with you about the China situation. It’s like everyone forgot that this country represses the rights of it’s own people AND others. *sigh*
And I hear you on the guys with accents. I prefer Irish and Scottish though. *G*

Is it just me or are the contestants for DWTS pretty, um, bleh this time?
