There was a story on the news last night about Dara Torres. It was amazing enough that she won three silver medals swimming against girls half her age. Now it turns out she was also swimming with bone spurs and a partially torn rotator cuff!!! :worthy: She is my new hero!

According to this article from CNN, film director Michael Moore wants people to stop reading books. Well, all I can say to that, Mr. Moore, is no freakin’ way!!! I am sick to death of politics and I’d rather read a book than listen to politicians wrangle over who’s the best for the nation. Life is depressing enough. I read as an escape from all the crap in the news. And I sure as hell wouldn’t be reading books about politics. I’d rather watch infomercials. Gah!
So, stop reading? I don’t think so.
