I don’t usually talk about my writing all that much here except to report how many pages I’ve written. But something dawned on me this morning about my process that has me giggling like an idiot. One thing you have to understand, I hate shopping. I am so not into shoes and purses and designer clothes. I’d rather wear a pair of ratty old shorts and a t-shirt and go barefoot. My current heroine, however, loves shoes and designer clothes. And I just realized this morning that I have fun shopping for her.
We find the cutest shoes and such at the Neiman Marcus website. *g*
On TV tonight, we have the season premiere of Chuck, plus Dancing with the Stars, Heroes, and CSI: Miami.
Well, I thought I had the wireless situation all up and running. But now my dad’s computer is only picking up the wireless signal intermittently. Very annoying. Now I have to figure out how to boost the signal.
Reading: Now I’m reading Ultra Violet by Nancy Bush. I just love this series about budding P.I. Jane Kelly and her pug Binkster.

Kacey is having a photo contest this month and the topic is weather. I decided for a change of pace to enter. This is a picture taken after the tornado that hit our little town in 2006.
This is the remains of a rail car that found its way into someone’s front yard. And though I couldn’t get a picture of it, there’s a piece of large farm equipment lodged inside on the other side.
So annoying. Yesterday I was watching my recording of Heroes. The countdown show and the first hour of the premiere were fine. The second hour? Kept blipping out every two minutes. And when it would come back there was a logo in the upper right corner of the screen with the channel but with DT after the call numbers which I assume meant it was a digital channel. If THIS is what digital TV is gonna be like with our lousy cable company I’m so not impressed.
Tonight we have the season premieres of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (two hours) and Cold Case, although to be honest I’m kind of burned out on the latter. So I may give it a pass. We also have another Sally Lockhart mystery on Masterpiece.
Reading: I’m still reading Bobbie Faye’s (kinda sorta not exactly) Family Jewels by Toni McGee Causey. For those of you who’ve read it, I nearly fell out of bed laughing at the Oscar Meyer Weiner song bit.
