(Geez. I have no brain today. I had this ready to post hours ago! And forgot to post it.)

John McCain accepted the Republican nomination for president! Gosh, imagine that! What a shocker! Hello? Foregone conclusion, news people. Why are you so surprised???

Found out who the third celebrity was who passed away this week. Bill Melendez was a chief animator on the Peanuts specials and the “voice” of Snoopy. He was 91.

I have a new favorite country song. It’s a peppy little tune called Cheater, Cheater by Joey and Rory. Part of the chorus:

tell me cheater cheater where’d you meet that no good white trash ho

At the end of the video the “white trash ho” turns out to be Naomi Judd.

My wireless thingy from Apple arrived yesterday, so I’m back to being able to use my own wifi wherever I want. Still need to add the router to the chain, though, so my dad can hook into the network. Unless he can do that with the Apple doohickey. But I’m not sure about that. I’m not going to worry about that at the moment, though. He can’t hook up his new CPU right now anyway.

Tonight on TV, it’s kind of slow until 9:00pm my time when I have Stargate: Atlantis and Psych. Also on tonight (starting this afternoon) is a series of shows about Navy SEALs on the Military Channel. I may watch just for, um, research. Yeah, that’s it! Research. Uh-huh. I may watch the CBS Fall Preview show, too. Just to see what’s coming up. Oh, and I see a new mini series on ABC Family that might be good called Samurai Girl.

I wrote a whole three sentences last night. :whoo:

Reading: The Carpet People by Terry Pratchett. He wrote this book when he was just 17! Though it wasn’t published until some time later than that.

  1. I thought it was funny that they announced the Republican Nominee was John McCain. No? Really? *G*
I’m looking forward to Psych, but not sure what else. The Samurai Girl is based upon a series of books. Not that I’ve read them, I was just very curious. *g*
I hope you get the router hooked up okay.
Three sentences are better than NO sentences.
Uh, huh. Research. Enjoy the Navy Seals. *g*

    Have a good evening!

  4. Yay on being wireless again. Enjoy the freedom. That’s the one thing I really miss trying to combat the CTS. I must work at a fixed place now.
