I have a new set of favorite commercials. The ones with Bill Curtis and the AT&T Internet Connect Card. If you haven’t seen them, Bill’s in various and sundry locations and says, “We’re in such and such a place and guess what we’ve found? The Internet!” Meanwhile, in the background you’ll see things like Amelia Earhart‘s missing plane, or a Yeti, or a leprechaun, or the Fountain of Youth. All of which Bill is completely oblivious to because he’s so enamored of having found the Internet!

One of the other things I bought this past week was a USB hub. It arrived yesterday. It’s so cute!!! It’s about half the size of the palm of my hand. Which I guess is why it’s called a “micro” hub. *g* I just wish when it was plugged in that it wasn’t upside down. Oh well.

It’s Saturday and that means Primeval on my beloved BBC America. I just wish BBC America would air the old gardening show Ground Force again. I am so not a gardener but I loved that show! And while we’re on the subject of shows I wish were still on the air, why doesn’t A&E/Biography show the Hercule Poirot and Midsomer Murders mysteries anymore? And why is it called Arts & Entertainment, anyway? When was the last time they actually had anything remotely artsy or entertaining? All they show these days are reality cop shows! That’s okay in small doses, but all the frakkin’ time???

Added another new page’s worth of stuff on the contemporary fantasy. It wasn’t a full page added all at once but from bits & pieces I added here and there.

Reading: Now I’ve gone from children’s books to Regency romance. A Midsummer’s Delight by Alicia Rasley. I haven’t read it in years. It’s a very pleasant change of pace.

  1. I haven’t seen that commercial. Though I still love the Mac vs PC commercials.

  2. I was a “Ground Force” freak! I loved that show… but then Alan left, and the others just couldn’t carry it.

  3. I’ve seen those commercials! The Mac and PC commercials are funny, too. *g*

I remember when A&E used to have better programming. Now they’re pandering to those who like so many reality shows. I miss Nero Wolfe. I LOVED that show.

Good going on the page written!

    Enjoy your regency!

I hope you had a great Saturday. :)
