Got another long Dancing With the Stars report for the second night of the three night premiere.

Cody Linley & Julianne Hough - They did a great quickstep. But I Want You to Want Me (click on the first Amazon link for this–the MP3 download–and listen to the sample) by Cheap Trick is not what I would have chosen for quickstep music. Weird. *g* They scored 23/30.
Rocco DiSpirito & Karina Smirnoff - They did a great mambo. And he’s so cute! The judges liked it way better than the previous night’s dance. They scored 21/30.
Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo - They did a gorgeous quickstep. They scored 23/30.
Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke - They did the mambo. It was pretty good. Energetic, for sure! They scored 21/30.
Brooke Burke & Derek Hough - They did the quickstep. And it was great! They scored 26/30.
Ted McGinley & Inna Brayer - They did the mambo. It was mambolicious. *g* And you know what I love about Ted? He and his wife have been married for 17 or 18 years. That’s amazing for Hollywood! They scored 19/30.
Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer - They did a fun quickstep. Mr. Len Crankypants, again, didn’t care for it. Neither did Carrie Ann. Ah well. They still managed to score 21/30.
Cloris Leachman & Corky Ballas - They did the mambo. Well, it wasn’t your typical mambo. But she’s a hoot to watch! They scored 16/30.
Kim Kardashian & Mark Ballas - They did the mambo, but I didn’t think it was that good. It didn’t sizzle. At all. They scored 18/30.
Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani - They did a lovely and elegant quickstep. But I think she was still being too cautious. They scored 22/30.
Misty May-Treanor & Maks Chmerkovskiy - They did the mambo last night. It was pretty good, but she doesn’t quite have the hip shaking down, IMO. The judges disagreed with me, though, so what do I know? *g* They scored 21/30.
Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson - They did the quickstep. Dang! He may weigh 300 pounds but he can move! Mr. Crankypants was very cranky, though. Phbbt! They still managed to score 22/30, though.

The first elimination was Jeffrey Ross. Not surprisingly. That poor guy Could. Not. Dance.

Got another busy night on TV tonight. Bones, the Dancing With the Stars results show, the season premieres of Knight Rider, Criminal Minds (we’ll finally find out who was in the exploding SUV!) and CSI: New York, plus Ghost Hunters and Destination Truth. I’m starting to think maybe I watch too much television….

On the plus side, however, I managed to write two pages last night. :whoo: So maybe all this TV is good for me! *g*

Reading: Finished up Zapped and now I’m reading The Book of Fate by Brad Meltzer. I’m not quite sure how to describe this book. It’s a political thriller. Sort of. Click on the link and read the Amazon description. :)

  1. Sadly, Knight Rider and Bones are ON AT THE SAME TIME. So it’s Bones for me tonight, KR on Friday (on SciFi, I believe).

    WTG on the pages.

  4. Thanks for the recap of DWTS. *G* I didn’t get to watch it last night. And won’t again tonight, so I’ll be looking forward to your thoughts on it tomorrow as well! *G*
Tonight we have RE so will have to record some shows! Bones and Knight Rider are on at the same time as is DWTS. Hubs wants KR and I want Bones. *g* Criminal Minds-I am SO wanting to know who went Boom!

Good going on the two pages! WOO!

    I hope you’re having a fantastic day!

  5. Go Cloris! Rock on! But really, I hate when this comes on. I’m always like “who is THAT?”.

  6. I keep missing Lance and Lacey dance. Susan Lucci did better in this dance than on Monday. I just love Warren Sapp…that man can move.

I tried to read Brad’s book, but I’m not into intrigue.
