I don’t usually talk about my writing all that much here except to report how many pages I’ve written. But something dawned on me this morning about my process that has me giggling like an idiot. One thing you have to understand, I hate shopping. I am so not into shoes and purses and designer clothes. I’d rather wear a pair of ratty old shorts and a t-shirt and go barefoot. My current heroine, however, loves shoes and designer clothes. And I just realized this morning that I have fun shopping for her. We find the cutest shoes and such at the Neiman Marcus website. *g*

On TV tonight, we have the season premiere of Chuck, plus Dancing with the Stars, Heroes, and CSI: Miami.

Well, I thought I had the wireless situation all up and running. But now my dad’s computer is only picking up the wireless signal intermittently. Very annoying. Now I have to figure out how to boost the signal.

Reading: Now I’m reading Ultra Violet by Nancy Bush. I just love this series about budding P.I. Jane Kelly and her pug Binkster. :)

  1. LOL on Virtual Shopping. That’s the best kind, really. So glad you’re having fun with your heroine.

I hope CHUCK does not disappoint. The kids have been looking forward to the premiere for ages.

  2. Love the shopping…

I also enjoyed the related post links I get in Google Reader — they included: “Son of the Generic Title” and “Return of the Generic Title”. Coming soon: “The Generic Title that Ate Tokyo!”

  4. Now I checked and they’ve moved Life to Mondays! Guess what I’ll be watching this week instead of CSI:Miami? *G*
I think it’s neat that you’re having such fun with a character. And internet shopping is the best. Lands End has a virtual model that you can try clothes on. *G*

I hope you’re having a wonderful and happy day!

  6. I had a heroine like that. It was fun doing the research. Think it took me all day of searching expensive shoe sites to find the perfect strappy sandals.
