It’s that time again! My Dancing with the Stars report is up right now:

Cody Linley & Julianne Hough - They danced the rumba which, as I said last season, is my least favorite dance. It was good, though! They scored 21/30.
Rocco DiSpirito & Karina Smirnoff - They also danced the rumba. Not his best dance, bless his heart. And the judges really bashed it. Yikes! They scored 16/30.
Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo - They danced the rumba, too. Steamy! Carrie Ann dinged them for a lift. But other than that, the judges loved it. They scored 23/30.
Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke - Yet another pair dancing the rumba. Good but not great. They scored 19/30.
Brooke Burke & Derek Hough - They danced the paso doble which is one of my favorite dances. It was pretty awesome but I had to agree with Carrie Ann. Brooke did seem a tad off-balance at times. But they only had three or four freakin’ days to learn it, so…. They scored 24/30.
Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer - They also danced the paso doble. Wow! I loved it! It wasn’t your typical bull and cape paso, though. But it rocked! Mr. Crankypants was his usual cranky self. But I could see the judges’ points. It was far from traditional. They scored 20/30.
Cloris Leachman & Corky Ballas - They danced the paso doble, too. Well, she tried. But it didn’t work for me. And I keep worrying about her getting hurt! They scored 15/30.
Kim Kardashian & Mark Ballas - They danced the rumba. It just didn’t do it for me. Of course, it didn’t do it for the judges either. (I’m really getting good at this judging thing! *g*) They scored 17/30.
Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani - Another rumba. I thought it was way too cautious again. But the judges all liked it. (Okay, so maybe I’m not ready to be a judge yet, after all…) They scored 21/30.
Misty May-Treanor & Maks Chmerkovskiy - They danced the paso doble. And it rocked! But she kinda had a Victorian dominatrix look. Weird. They scored 21/30.
Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson - And another paso doble. I just love him to bits! They totally rocked!!! Even Mr. Crankypants loved it! But what was the deal with all the black pleather?! They scored 24/30.

And the catch-phrase of the season, thanks to Maurice Greene, is “winner, winner, chicken dinner”.

As for who should go home, in a perfectly fair world, Cloris should, but who knows what the fans will do.

Tonight, we have NCIS, The Mentalist, Fringe, and Dancing with the Stars results show.

Wrote two pages last night. Whoo! Hot fed, cute PI, annoyed cop, secret rooms, leopard-print shoes. Fun times! :D

Reading: Still reading Ultra Violet by Nancy Bush. I love this series!

  1. I missed some of the dances, but saw the last hour and I agree, what was up with all the Pleather! *G* I had to go to Youtube to see Lacey and Lances dance, but I liked it! It’s about time they had someone shake things up.
Now, lets hear more about this hot fed, cute PI and annoyed cop! Woo! Sounds good!

I am going to have to get Chris to record something tonight. Ack!

  3. Is Lacey Schwimmer related to David? Just wondered…

And yeah, I think you should use that as your tagline:

Hot fed, cute PI, annoyed cop, secret rooms, leopard-print shoes. Fun times!

    Seriously. :D
