…no matter how much we, and our across-the-street neighbors, would love one. This morning while reading email and preparing to get ready for a doctor’s appointment our power went out. Now, we have to go back in time to 2006 when the tornado hit our town. One power line runs from the pole on the corner our lot and strings across the street to our neighbor. We told Entergy back then when they put up new power lines that it was hanging too low. We and the neighbors have complained about it time and again since then. Well, today our neighbor was driving his tractor (yeah, we’re in town but it’s RURAL *g*) and something he was towing caught the power line which promptly tangled up in whatever it was. A LIVE wire.
Needless to say Entergy strung the new line up a lot higher. But geez.
The doctor visit went well, though. We got in and out fast which is always a plus. And he was very pleased with how my blood sugar’s been running. Yay!
Not a lot on tonight except Survivor: Gabon, so I’ll also catch up on some of the shows I recorded last night.
Had a great visit last night with the cousins, but because of their visit, I didn’t get any writing done. But that’s okay. I’ll just make it up over the weekend. They’ll be here for another week, so we’re hoping to get together again before they fly back to California.
Reading: Now I’ve switched gears from murder mysteries and am reading the very steamy Unleashing the Storm by the very talented Sydney Croft (both of her *g*).
Sorry about the power outage.

Sorry to hear about your power, but glad to hear it was strung back higher. One of these days power companies will get the memo and put in ALL underground, right? *G*
FANTASTIC news on the blood sugar! YAY for you! I’m proud of you!
The book you’re reading sounds interesting. Hmmm, may have to look that up. *g*
Have a fabulous evening!

Yay on the doc visit!
Awesome news.
As for rural, I hear ya. I often see cows meandering down the road because they’ve initiated the great escape plan. Crazy stuff.
At least the goobers put the line higher this time.
LOL on the Sydny Croft comment. I need to pick that one up!

Glad the doctor visit went well. Entergy is still trying to get the power back up in Houston so I don’t have a lot of faith in their abilities.

I have an award for you over at KR, by the way -

Glad the wire is fixed and your doc visit went well.
So what was the reveal on Survivor. I saw a headline about it on Yahoo entertainment, but never got around to clicking on it!
