I enjoyed Sanctuary last night. But I had a really hard time getting used to Amanda Tapping with long dark hair and an English accent. Both kept freaking me out more than the weird creatures her character on the show studies. *g*

In other news…

It may be controversial, but I’m giggling like a loon over the news of O. J. Simpson being found guilty on all charges in the robbery/kidnapping case in Las Vegas.

Tonight on TV, I’ll be watching and/or recording Primeval and Knight Rider

I only wrote one page last night. Need to figure out what happens next.

Reading: Last night I read Pleasure to the Max by Cami Dalton which I totally loved!!! Now I’m reading The Red Trailer Mystery by Julie Campbell. This is the second Trixie Belden book. And I made an interesting discovey. The “new” Random House editions are actually the original stories & illustrations. The Whitman editions I bought in the ’70s were “updated”. I’m loving the original version. :)

  1. THAT was Amanda Tapping? WHOA! I’d never have know if you hadn’t said anything! What did you think of the show over all?

Sounds as though you’re reading some good books. *G* I had the 70’s version, I think, of the Trixie Belden books. But we bought Daughter the updated one that are actually the original? COOL!

I hope you have an enjoyable day!

  2. I had to look up Amanda Tapping (who was born in England, BTW, so that’s the real her, lol). I don’t watch Statgate, so didn’t know who she was.

DD is really into my old Nancy Drews, so I have to think about getting her Trixie Belden. It’s good to know that the new ones are the old ones!

  3. Don’t you hate it when you only get one page written because you have NO CLUE what comes next???

  4. Freaked me too. A bit too dark and slow for my taste.
