It’s time for my Dancing with the Stars report again:

Misty May-Treanor & Maks Chmerkovskiy - She won’t be continuing. She ruptured her Achilles tendon. *wince* Ouch, ouch, ouch! They had it on tape when it happened during rehearsals and you could HEAR it pop. It just made me cringe with broken ankle flashbacks. She goes into surgery today.
Cody Linley & Julianne Hough - They danced the jive. It was fun and lively, but it wasn’t his best dance, in my opinion. They scored 21/30.
Rocco DiSpirito & Karina Smirnoff - They danced the Viennese waltz. I liked it but the music was kind of weird. What’s New Pussycat? isn’t my idea of waltz music. They scored 20/30.
Toni Braxton & Alec Mazo - They danced the Viennese waltz. It was a little on the strange side. All because of the Marie Antoinette costuming. Mr. Crankypants and Bruno didn’t care for it. Carrie Ann did. I kind of did, too, but it was still strange. *g* They scored 22/30.
Maurice Greene & Cheryl Burke - They danced the jive. It was fun and lively! And the judges loved it, too. :) They scored 24/30.
Brooke Burke & Derek Hough - They danced the Viennese waltz. One word. Stunning. They scored 28/30. They got the first 10 of the season. From Mr. Crankypants, no less!
Lance Bass & Lacey Schwimmer - They danced the Viennese waltz. Beautiful and traditional! Mr. Crankypants still wasn’t happy, though, because Lance’s technique wasn’t good enough to suit him. They scored 22/30.
Cloris Leachman & Corky Ballas - They danced the jive. Oh man! Her wig came off during the dance!!! Too funny! Last week Carrie Ann wanted Crazy Cloris back. She was. *g* They scored 16/30.
Susan Lucci & Tony Dovolani - They did the jive. I wanted to like it. But it just didn’t work for me. She was dancing injured, though, so that may have been part of the problem. They scored 21/30.
Warren Sapp & Kym Johnson - They danced the Viennese waltz. Gorgeous!!! He is SO light on his feet, it’s hard to believe he weighs 300 pounds! They scored 25/30.

Woke up this morning with no power. Fun. Not! But it’s back up and running now, thank goodness. Otherwise, you guys would have probably heard me screaming :cursin: all the way to wherever you live.

Tonight on TV, we have NCIS and the Dancing with the Stars results show. I’ll be watching the latter live and recording the former. We also have a presidential debate which I will be avoiding like the plague, thank you very much.

I wrote three and a half pages last night. :whoo:

Reading: I finished Sour Puss. Not sure what’s next on the reading agenda.

  3. I saw the wig come off last night, and it was funny. But she clearly was having trouble keeping up. She is a hoot, though.
    WTG on the PAGES! WOW!

You didn’t hear ME screaming today? I’m shocked! My AC adapter died again. *sigh*

    I hope you’ve had a great day!
