It wasn’t at 2:00 in the morning like Marianne thought, but late enought to wait until today. While brushing my hair yesterday morning I got to wondering why men get easy-to-use brush-in hair color, but women have to go the inconvenient shampoo/rinse route? The only hair I want to color is the part that’s visible which could easily be dealt with a brush-in type. So what jerkface came up with the easy hair color for men but the complicated kind for women?
Huh? Enquiring minds (or maybe just mine) want to know!
Wasn’t that worth the wait?
Last night I watched Meet the Robinsons. As I recall it didn’t get very good reviews from the critics, but I thought it was darling. Maybe not quite as good as The Incredibles, but that’s a hard movie to top. Anyway, I liked it well enough to want the DVD.
Tonight’s a busy night on TV. We have Dancing with the Stars in which it’s getting more and more difficult to choose a winner, Chuck which I’m several weeks behind in watching, Heroes (ditto), CSI: Miami which I plan to record, and My Own Worst Enemy which despite being canceled NBC plans to air all filmed episodes. I’m going to record it, too, though, I think.
And I’ll be back to writing again if I can drag myself away from the dead ancestors long enough.
Reading: Finished up Dirty Laundry which I adored. Sofie & Jake are so fun! And tonight I’ll be starting Puss ‘n Cahoots by Rita Mae Brown. “Harry” Haristeen and her new (for the second time around) husband Fair are on their honeymoon in Kentucky, attending a horse show. And they take long their Welsh corgi Tee Tucker and two cats, Mrs. Murphy & Pewter. Naturally, murder ensues and Harry gets involved up to her ears. All while coping with her impending 40th birthday.

I never gave hair dye much thought, but according to the commercials, you’re right. Weird.
I like the Tori Carrington Sofie Metropolis books, too. I can’t wait for the next one, already!
I hope you’re having a good day!

I’m with you on wanting just a quick hair dye fix. Blech. I hate the hair dye industry

Men, they can’t handle complications hence theirs is simple while woman’s is hard.

I’ve wondered the SAME thing! To be fair, the men hair color is like boot black, but still….

I like Dru’s explanation!

LOL, Tori. No idea why the difference except maybe that women’s hair TENDS to be longer?

My Own Worst Enemy had a great premise. Too bad it couldn’t quite live up to it. I do enjoy my Christian Slater.
Also…I may have to google “butterfly” in reference to what made his character’s wife so very happy.
Ha!
