The one that kills me is David Tennant…the guy is insanely SCOTTISH-sounding (::swoon::) in interviews and stuff, but quite London-speak in Dr. Who.

I think we’re exposed to more American actors trying to do English/Australian accents so we see more of the bad ones.

Did you hear that Bones will be moving to Thursdays in January?
And I have never thought of accents associated with nationality and acting. Although, I detest when non-Southerners try to speak with a twang. *sigh*

Actually, there are lots of US thespians who can do good English accents — we just don’t think of them because the accents *are* good. Think of Alexis Denisof. James Marsters. Johnny Depp. There’s many others, but I have a migraine and it hurts to think. Frances McDormand.

I love my Netflix. I get 2 movies at a time and it’s great because on Sat & SUn when there is nothing on TV I have something to watch.
