So I was watching the 1950s What’s My Line? the other night. For those who’ve never seen the show, four panelists try to guess the occupation of the contestant by asking questions. This particular contestant was an egg inspector. One of the ladies, Dorothy Kilgallen, asked if he dealt with a dairy product to which he correctly said “no”. Then the questions got around to Arlene Francis who asked if he dealt with eggs. To which Dorothy exclaimed, “Those are dairy products!” Everyone else said, “No they aren’t.” Then she said, “But they’re in the dairy section of supermarket!” Arlene asked her, “When was the last time you saw a cow lay an egg???” For some reason this got me laughing so hard I Could. Not. Breathe.
And she wasn’t a stupid woman (she was a journalist back when that actually meant something!) which makes it all the funnier, IMO.
It’s 70 freaking degrees outside right now! And we’re soon to be under a tornado watch. Joy. *sigh* Much as I love the warmer weather, I’d rather have snow than tornadoes.
Not a darn thing on tonight, so it’ll be more recorded stuff. Movies tonight, I think.
Wrote about a third of a page last night.
Reading: I finished the Mrs. Jeffries book, so now I’m finishing up Queen of Demons. Next up? I’m not sure. *g*

I love that show! I wish I’d seen that one, it sounds hilarious! *G*
It’s 53 and raining here. I don’t mind.
Yay on the third of a page!
I hope you don’t get any tornados and that your day is enjoyable!

Yeah, I don’t know why, when I tell people 14 can’t have dairy, the first comment is (almost EVERY time), “But he eats eggs.”
Um, eggs? Yeah, NOT milk.
===================
Hugs on the tornado watch. Stay safe.
I gripe about the weather here a lot, but I know we have it pretty good (the last 2 weeks notwithstanding). Though I am jealous about the 70 degrees.

That is too funny.
Tornado watches scare me. Stay safe.
