I have absolutely nothing to write about today, so I thought I’d post some pictures of my ancestors. Which probably is of no interest to any of you, but too bad. *g*

My great-great-grandpa, George Lemonds, is on the far right. The others are two of his brothers. They’re a grim looking lot, aren’t they?

This is my great-great-great-grandma. She’s pretty grim too. LOL! Then again, they had to hold so still for so long for photos back then, I’m not surprised.

I bet you didn’t know one of my other great-great-grandfathers was Santa Claus, did you? *g*

This is a picture of another set of great-great-grandparents, William Cage Grimsley & Matilda Stepp Grimsley. They’re the ones buried in the cemetery at the church where I took the outhouse pictures.
Not a lot on tonight. There’s horse racing this afternoon, a stakes race whose name I’ve forgotten and the Florida Derby. In the Florida Derby, I’m pulling for the most gorgeous gray horse on the planet, Dunkirk. Tonight there’s Ashes to Ashes, the World Figure Skating championships which I may or may not watch, and for those who might be interested a new Nora Roberts movie on Lifetime.
Wrote another page last night.
Reading: Still reading Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony. I should get it finished tonight.

Thanks for sharing your ancestory pictures. We don’t have any pictures of my mom’s family.
Yay on the writing.

I don’t have pictures that far back from my Mom’s family. And didn’t they look grim back then not only because the picture took so long, but because it was considered in bad taste to smile?
No idea what we’re watching on TV tonight, but we’re also participating in Earth Hour from 8:30-9:30pm. It’s where you turn off everything for an hour to support the lessening of emissions.
I like the name Dunkirk. *G*
I hope you have a terrific day!

All those old photos look the same. We have some around here and it’s a similar expression!
Thanks for sharing your ancestors with us!
