I am sick to death of this wacky weather. Mother Nature needs to be drop-kicked into next year. Then put in a headlock, and have a piledriver done on her. (My, I’m feeling awfully violent
this peaceful Sunday morning…)
Last night, I caught up on a couple of episodes each of Chuck and Heroes and one episode of Criminal Minds. I came very close to skipping all those and watching some early episodes of The Avengers instead, though. Still got last week’s episodes of Chuck and Heroes to watch. Maybe I’ll do that tonight since the only thing on is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Then again, EMHE is on for two hours tonight. So maybe I’ll watch an episode of The Avengers. I’m in the mood to watch Mrs. Peel kick the bad guys’ collective butts. I can pretend she’s doing it to Mother Nature.
Reading: Last night I read Plum Spooky by Janet Evanovich. This book had me howling! Loved Carl and the monkeys. Loved Tank actually talking and the subject he talked about. And I love Diesel almost as much as I love Ranger. I still find Joe kind of dull. *g*
Now I’m re-reading one my old books, Mathemagics by Margaret Ball. Riva Konneva is your typical suburban single mom. She has a cute live-in boyfriend who’s tutoring her in math, a feud with the school district about her daughter, and a job as a sword-wielding warrior in another dimension. But when an enemy from her home dimension shows up in this one threatening the life of her child, Riva has to use every talent she’s got to keep them all alive.

We finally have a sunny day after 4 days of rain. We’ll supposedly have it tomorrow as well, and then it’s back to rain, rain, rain. *G* After all this if I hear the word draught on tv I am going to have a fit!
Your book sounds interesting. I may have to look that up. LOVED Plum Spooky! The monkeys stole the book. Carl was so funny! Diesel is indeed another fav character. And you’re right, Joe is dull! Blah!
I hope you have a nice day!
