I have absolutely nothing to write about today, so I thought I’d post some pictures of my ancestors. Which probably is of no interest to any of you, but too bad. *g*

Sober as judges
My great-great-grandpa, George Lemonds, is on the far right. The others are two of his brothers. They’re a grim looking lot, aren’t they?

Mary King Lemonds
This is my great-great-great-grandma. She’s pretty grim too. LOL! Then again, they had to hold so still for so long for photos back then, I’m not surprised.

Mr & Mrs Claus
I bet you didn’t know one of my other great-great-grandfathers was Santa Claus, did you? *g*

William Cage Grimsley & Matilda Stepp Grimsley
This is a picture of another set of great-great-grandparents, William Cage Grimsley & Matilda Stepp Grimsley. They’re the ones buried in the cemetery at the church where I took the outhouse pictures.

Not a lot on tonight. There’s horse racing this afternoon, a stakes race whose name I’ve forgotten and the Florida Derby. In the Florida Derby, I’m pulling for the most gorgeous gray horse on the planet, Dunkirk. Tonight there’s Ashes to Ashes, the World Figure Skating championships which I may or may not watch, and for those who might be interested a new Nora Roberts movie on Lifetime.

Wrote another page last night.

Reading: Still reading Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony. I should get it finished tonight.

And other pieces of furniture. We’re shifting my desk around again. Sort of. Or at least we have an idea of where to move it, but not sure if it’ll work. I wish we could come up with a plan that works for everything I need. I keep thinking a professional interior designer could help, but they’d probably tell me I need to get rid of half my books. At which point I’d have to hit them. :boxing: Ahem.

Well, the weather dude said we’d have bad storms last night. They were all well to the south of us. Now they’re saying the same for tonight. It’s getting old, Ma Nature! Give it a rest already!!! :fryingpan:

The only thing on tonight is Stargate: Ark of Truth which is the first SG-1 movie after the show ended. It went straight to DVD, so I’m glad I finally get to see it.

I wrote three pages last night! :dancingfool:

Reading: Now I’m reading Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony by Eoin Colfer. I was kind of iffy about Artemis when I first started the series but I’m really liking it now. :)

As promised, it’s time for outhouses! These pics were taken at the little country church where one set of great-great-grandparents are buried. Wish I’d thought to take a picture of the church. *g* As always, click on the picture for a larger version.

A little privacy please
A little privacy, please!

Get me outta here
Get me outta here!

Another angle
This is another shot of the outhouse above. Obviously, this church has his and hers outhouses. :)

Semi-good news from the chiro yesterday. I don’t have to go back for two weeks. But my hands are still driving me insane. I need a monitor to hook my laptop up to so I’m not hunching over my desk all the time to see the screen.

The only things on tonight are new episodes of Treasure Quest and Warriors. Naturally, of course, they’re on at the same time so one will have to be recorded.

Wrote another two pages last night. :cheer:

Reading: Still reading Strangers in Death.
