So, sometime yesterday a social networking site whose name is frequently shortened to FB has deemed me (on my real name account) “annoying and abusive”. What I really am is HIGHLY INSULTED.
I’m mostly trying to laugh the whole thing off (you gotta laugh, right?) but I know someone who went through this a few months ago and they eventually shut down his account. Now that is annoying and abusive!
Anyhoo. So I’m going to try and be quiet on FB for awhile and see what happens. In the meantime, I’ll do my commenting from my Tori Lennox account. Hah! The thing that really ticks me off, though, is there doesn’t appear to be any way to contact them to find out what you did specifically. You just get a warning with lots of vague mumbo jumbo.
On a happier note, it’s Friday and that means new episodes of Eureka and Psych. I got the giggles over Psych‘s episode title. “The Devil is in the Details… and the Upstairs Bedroom”. *g*
Read through another eight pages last night. I was a tad too distracted over this whole FB thing to really concentrate.
Reading: Now I’m reading The Ghost and the Haunted Mansion. This is the most recent book in this series. And it’s great fun!

I’m new to FB, but I hadn’t noticed you doing anything wrong. I hope it works out okay.
Eight pages is good, better than none!
I’m looking forward to Eureka tonight! Enjoy your book!
I hope you have a terrific day!

The nerve of FB. Aren’t they a social networking site? Shouldn’t you be networking? Doesn’t networking involve commenting? Geeze.

I wonder what their criteria was? Too many posts, too many of a certain kind?

First off, you should tell FB to
Second off, yes, I’ve often said what a trouble maker you are…

How… weird. Does someone have to report you as annoying or abusive? I haven’t found you annoying OR abusive. MySpace is the same way — we had an account for our Goddess Fish Promotions stuff and then suddenly… we didn’t. They said we’d violated their rules of conduct and they pulled our account without notice. I read their rules and couldn’t see anything we’d done wrong, and when we contacted them, they wouldn’t give us specifics. **sigh**
No time to watch Eureka until Monday. MONDAY. I’m not happy…

Come on girl, you have got to laugh about this. And then
and then
and then
and when all else fails…
because you have one upped FB, the so-called networking guru. Maybe you should start your own networking site. It could be the next big thing!
