So, sometime yesterday a social networking site whose name is frequently shortened to FB has deemed me (on my real name account) “annoying and abusive”. What I really am is HIGHLY INSULTED. I’m mostly trying to laugh the whole thing off (you gotta laugh, right?) but I know someone who went through this a few months ago and they eventually shut down his account. Now that is annoying and abusive!
Anyhoo. So I’m going to try and be quiet on FB for awhile and see what happens. In the meantime, I’ll do my commenting from my Tori Lennox account. Hah! The thing that really ticks me off, though, is there doesn’t appear to be any way to contact them to find out what you did specifically. You just get a warning with lots of vague mumbo jumbo.
On a happier note, it’s Friday and that means new episodes of Eureka and Psych. I got the giggles over Psych‘s episode title. “The Devil is in the Details… and the Upstairs Bedroom”. *g*
Read through another eight pages last night. I was a tad too distracted over this whole FB thing to really concentrate.
Not a lot going on around here. Freaky Ghost Hunters last night and a most excellent Leverage which I am pleased to announce has already been renewed for a third season by TNT.
I saw the above phrase in a newsletter I get from Mother Nature Network. I was a bit startled, to say the least. Butterflies dangerous? Huh? But it turns out The Dangerous World of Butterflies is the title of a new book.
Well, we got the legs attached to my desktop (which previously sat atop two file cabinets) yesterday. The downside, it’s now all kind of wobbly. Not sure how we’re going to solve that problem. Now to work on actually rearranging the furniture….
I don’t want to go into details in case some of you haven’t seen it yet, but I found last night’s W13 kind of disturbing. And not in a good way.
Reading: Finished up Medusa and started, barely, The Ghost and the Femme Fatale by Alice Kimberly. Bookstore owner Penelope McClure is once again solving a murder with the help of ghostly P.I. Jack Shepard.
