Way back when, when I lived in Memphis, my roommate and I used to count Wednesday as the beginning of the weekend. We’d go out, stay out till all hours of the night and still manage to get to work the next day with no trouble. It boggles my mind that we did that. I’d never be able to manage it now.
On this date in 1919, Congress overturned Woodrow Wilson‘s veto and passed the Volstead Act which reinforced Prohibition in the United States. Bring on the mob and the speakeasies!
So, last night’s double elimination on DWTS. The person with the lowest combined total was Melissa Joan Hart. And the person who lost the dance-off was Louie Vito. Which I think was appropriate, no matter how much I liked Louie. Michael Irvin was just a smidge better last night.
Tonight it’s Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, MythBusters, and a History Channel special called The Real Wolfman.
Wrote half a page last night.
Reading: Now I’m reading Tris’s Book by Tamora Pierce. This is book two in the Circle of Magic series.

It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is on tonight! I love that show. *G* WTG on half a page! Nothing much going on here, either. But, I am enjoying the sunshine.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

When I was in college we started the weekend on Thursday, which was early, but you were way ahead of me!
I don’t know how I did that, or lots of other things, either…

Thanks for the recap. I love Wednesdays because there’s only 2 more days for the work week.

LOL… I used to do the same thing. Dance until dawn
and then off to work a couple hours later.
Sucks getting old.
