Today’s rant is brought to you by Walmart brand salsa. (Yes, I know it’s not the best. It’s what my mom buys, so I don’t have a lot of choice.) As if the whole plain label debacle wasn’t annoying enough, they’ve also redesigned the jar/bottle their salsa comes in. It used to be in a nice square large-mouth jar. Now it looks like this. Only more nipped in at the neck. You can barely get a spoon in it and if you do, you still end up with salsa all over your fingers. Pour it out, you say? Sure! If you want the whole darn jar in a bowl at one time! But if you want just enough for one person, you might have a little problem. If I had a Walmart exec standing right here, he’d be getting smacked but good. 
The Sci Fi Channel is having a marathon of all the original V miniseries and regular series. I’m watching because I loved it when it originally aired. But also tonight we have Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.
Reading: Last night I finished up Trouble in Mudbug which I’d started re-reading awhile ago before I got library books which I also finished up. 
You know I agree with you a about the new Wal-Mart packaging. Now Chris is complaining about it after shopping with me on Friday. *G*
I sort of remember the V mini-series.

I have no problem with the Wal-mart salsa. But that’s because I hate salsa and will never buy it! I think it smells like dirty feet. Believe it or not, I LOVE tomatoes!

I have never tried the Walmart salsa, but packaging matters to me so I’d be bummed if it changed so much!
