On this date in 1877, Thomas Edison announced his invention of the phonograph. From that to the iPod is quite a trip.
It’s overcast again.
I need my sunshine, please and thank you!
There isn’t a thing on today or tonight so it looks like it might be another James Bond day. Gotta clean off some space on the DVR.
I watched the first episode of V last night. It was okay but didn’t really grab me, so I deleted the rest of the episodes off the DVR. I’m finding I watch less and less network TV programming these days.
Wrote a few sentences last night but not enough to satisfy myself.
Reading: I gave up on the steampunk book and started The Knights of the Cornerstone by James P. Blaylock instead. It’s about a Los Angeles book collector/cartoonist who goes to visit his aunt & uncle in a small California desert town and finds himself sucked into dangerous intrigue involving the Knights Templar.

Wow, you deleted V unwatched? How unlike you
We have some sun today! Maybe it will drift down your way?

I wasn’t interested in V at all, so we haven’t watched it. Sorry to hear about putting the book down, but I understand. The one you’ve decided to read instead sounds good.
Enjoy your Bond day! *G*

I felt the same way about “V”. Watched the first and glanced at the second and never looked back.
I always feel sad when I don’t finish a book, but I get over it.

I made it through about 45 mins of the “V” pilot and was bored silly, so deleted it and the rest. Too bad.
