It’s a little past my 1960 cut-off date for TV/movie history but I thought it was worth noting that on this date in 1963 the very first episode of Doctor Who aired on BBC television.

Boris Karloff was born on this date in 1887. And Harpo Marx was born on this date in 1888.

Tonight on TV, we have the DWTS finale and Castle.

No writing this weekend thanks to the Great Antibiotic Incident. Must get back in the groove tonight.

Reading: Still reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. And I’m still loving it. Parts of it are pretty gruesome but those scenes are few and far between and mostly it’s just lots of fun.

  1. I sort of remember watching Dr. Who when I was young. Something about a long, long scarf?
Can’t wait to see Castle and whoever wins DWTS.
Good luck getting your writing groove back! Sorry to hear the antibiotics made you feel so bad.
    Have a good day!

  2. Good luck with the writing, Tori. I know it’s hard to get started once you’ve had to take a break from it.

  3. Sometimes a break is a good thing. Once you get back in the flow – the writing will come to you and your story will be back on track.

  4. I loved watching last week’s NCIS when McGee references “Doctor Who” and Tony asks who watches that show. I felt like saying I KNOW PEOPLE WHO DO!!

I picked up “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” yesterday at the library. Not sure if it’s my kind of book, but will give it a go…. :book:
