Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends here in the U.S. A few of the things I’m thankful for this year:

My vision is good enough to cut down on the frequency I have to visit the retina specialist.
My computer and big monitor that’s got such a sharp, clear picture.
    My book collection.
My wacky ideas for my own stories.
    Satellite television & radio.
Having a nice place to live (except during tornado season  )
And most especially my wonderful friends and family.

There’s not a darn thing on tonight that I care about watching, so I’ll be catching up on recorded shows. Gotta clear off space for Christmas movies! :)

Wrote about half a page last night.

Reading: Last night I read a new-to-me author, Murder on Astor Place by Victoria Thompson. It’s a mystery series set in New York City in the 1890s. The amateur detective is a socialite turned midwife who occasionally teams up with a police detective. It was quite enjoyable and IIook forward to reading more.
