The sun is playing peek-a-boo this morning. It was shining brightly when I woke up earlier. Now… not so much. Rain starts up again tonight. Rain all day tomorrow, possibly turning to snow Wednesday night! I think winter has arrived. *g*
I was going to give you guys a little history lesson today on gas stations because one of my sources said the first gas station opened on this date in 1903 in Pittsburgh. Except when I went to my other sources they said the first one opened in 1905 in St. Louis. Hmm. That’s a bit problematic. So which was it? Anyone? Buehler?
I totally forgot to mention it yesterday but one of my uncle’s quarter horses raced on Sunday and WON!!!
Can you believe it’s already December?!?!?! Where did this year go? Guess I’d better start thinking about Christmas shopping….
There isn’t anything on tonight except Ghost Lab so I’ll be watching recorded stuff until then. Last night I watched a James Bond movie.
Wrote about half a page last night.
Reading: I decided to read Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters first. I don’t like it quite as well as P&P&Z but it’s still pretty good. I think it would have helped if I’d read the original story. I’m thinking I’d better read the original Mansfield Park before I try to read its revamp.

Two of my sources has the 1913 as the year the first drive-in automobile service station opened, in Pittsburgh, PA.
I have to go to a new hire reception tonight at the new company. It’s going to be long from 6-9pm. This after waking up at 3am.

Mansfield Park is not Jane’s best (in my opinion) – I am sure that zombies or whatever will only improve it

I can’t believe it’s December, either. Though I am close to being done for Christmas shopping.
I’ll admit, I am not a Jane Austen fan, so have avoided the newest books.
I hope the sun stayed out for you for a while. I also hope you have a pleasing evening!
