Luckily, this excuse does not apply to me. At least not today. *g*

It snowed here again. Crazy weather! It’s snowing here in Arkansas and in Vancouver which is hosting the Olympics in a few days, it’s 50 freakin’ degrees!!! What’s up with that?!

Got a few things on this date in Hollywood history:

  • In 1886, actor Charlie Ruggles was born
  • In 1894, director King Vidor was born
  • In 1915 D.W. Griffith‘s controversial film The Birth of a Nation premiered in Los Angeles
  • In 1921, actress Lana Turner was born
  • In 1922, actress Audrey Meadows was born
  • In 1925, actor Jack Lemmon was born
  • In 1935, actor James Dean was born
  • Tonight is a fairly slow TV night, or rather it’s a night with no double (or triple) booking. :)

  • Chuck
  • 24
  • Castle
  • And I guess I’ll attempt to do some writing if I can ditch the brain fog.

Reading: I finished up Hold on Tight which I was sorry to see end. Can’t wait for the next book from Stephanie! Now I’m back to reading Untraceable by Laura Griffin. It’s set in Austin, Texas where I used to live so it’s fun playing “spot the locations I know”.

    1. See, you have the snow we want. It’s 50 degrees here and it looks as though this is a Winter without snow for us. I can’t wait for Castle tonight!
Hope you have a terrific day!

    3. I’m reading Hold On Tight right now and nearly finished because I couldn’t stop reading it. Her books are good.

Could you please send your snow here?

    4. The PNW really has had no winter. I’m curious to see how the practice runs go. They may have to move a couple of the venues. At least Whistler Blackcomb has snow!
